The Culture Yard

Events, meetings and conferences – the place for an extraordinary experience.

A short distance from Elsinore’s wharf, the glass facade of the Culture Yard reflects the image of Kronborg Castle as it stretches out toward the sea. The old shipyard buildings have been newly renovated and connected by an arcade made of large glass elements and raw steel construction. One immediately senses the presence of history and the rich harbour culture of the landscape project Culture Harbour Kronborg, not to mention, among other things, North Sealand’s biggest cultural programme, a prize-winning library, a busy restaurant, and a breathtaking view of the M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark, Kronborg and the Swedish coast.

The 13,000 m2 also contain several venues and meeting places that will appeal to those looking for a less polished meeting place.  Concerts, performances and shows are a normal part of everyday life in this bustling centre of cultural activity.

Our experienced event staff is ready to tailor-fit your event, meeting or conference to exploit the blossoming cultural life the area has to offer.
For example, we can arrange a conducted tour of Culture Harbour Kronborg, or leave the meeting participants to finish their day with a cultural event – a show, lecture or perhaps something special – just for you ...
