The Maritime museum doesn’t resemble any other meeting place. In Culture Harbour Kronborg, down in the old dry-dock, you can rent a bridge or book a meeting place.
Have Bjarke Ingels Group’s ground-breaking architecture serve as the framework for your event at the prize-winning M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark. Bridges of glass and steel hover over the old dry-dock of Elsinore harbour, and a sloping ramp leads you down into a unique universe of exquisite architecture and exciting maritime history. You can book your own bridge or meeting place with panorama windows featuring a view of the dry-dock and unique surroundings.
The framework is versatile, and you can even hold a lecture on the hovering Kronborg bridge, with its 139 elegant Arne Jacobsen chairs, or hold a meeting or dinner party in The Blue Room with panorama windows at the tip of the dock. If you desire a more dynamic framework for your large event or dinner party, the Globalisation Room can seat up to 250 persons. On a smaller scale, your dinner party can take place in the M/S Café, framed by rough concrete walls, with a view of the dock’s impressive rooms featuring the intersecting steel and glass bridges. The cafe can also open out onto the dock, so you can have drinks under the open sky in Denmark’s most beautiful underground setting.
Our conference halls cost DKK 150/person and include access to the museum’s exhibitions, as well as modern AV equipment.
